Frequently Asked Questions
What sets Modern Coastal Living apart from other luxury furniture brands?
Modern Coastal Living combines internationally recognised design with personal, considered project support.
As an authorised Vondom retailer, we help private clients, architects, interior designers and hospitality professionals with product selection, materials, finishes, specifications, quotations and delivery, providing a knowledgeable point of contact from initial enquiry through to order.
How do you ensure the quality of your furniture?
We uphold stringent quality control measures at every stage of production, from material sourcing to final inspection. Additionally, we collaborate with renowned designers who share our dedication to excellence, guaranteeing that each piece meets our exacting standards.
Can you tell me more about your sustainable design practices?
Sustainability informs the way Modern Coastal Living selects products, materials and manufacturing partners. Across selected Vondom collections, materials include recyclable polyethylene and polypropylene, aluminium and FSC-certified wood where specified.
Selected Vondom Revolution products incorporate recycled plastic materials, with recycled content identified only where confirmed within the relevant product specification. We also place emphasis on durability, responsible material choices and furniture designed for long-term use.
How do I know which furniture pieces are best suited for my space?
Our Design Support service can help you compare collections, dimensions, configurations, materials and finishes according to your space and how the furniture will be used.
Whether you are furnishing a private home, terrace, restaurant, hotel or commercial environment, we can help narrow the options and provide relevant product and specification information.
Are your furniture pieces customisable?
Many Vondom collections are available in a range of colours, finishes, upholstery fabrics, configurations and optional features, depending on the individual product.
Not every option is displayed online, so please contact us if you require a particular finish, configuration or specification. We can confirm the available choices for the product you are considering.
What materials are used in your furniture?
Materials vary by collection and product. Across selected Vondom ranges, options include polyethylene, polypropylene, powder-coated aluminium, teak, performance fabrics, HPL and glass.
Polyethylene and polypropylene are widely used for sculptural moulded furniture and planters, while aluminium and teak feature across selected furniture collections. Upholstery and textile specifications vary by product.
Full material information is provided on individual product pages where available, and our Materials, Fabrics & Care page provides further guidance.
