TWO TYPES OF ALUMINIUM
Vondom works principally with AISI12 and 6060 aluminium, using different manufacturing techniques to achieve the form, structure and performance required for each collection.
AISI12 ALUMINIUM
CAST FOR DURABILITY & FUNCTION
AISI12 cast aluminium is particularly suited to contract furniture, including tables and seating for restaurants, cafés, offices and commercial environments. Vondom also combines aluminium table structures with materials such as HPL, Dekton and glass, providing designers with greater flexibility when specifying finishes and surfaces.
AISI12 features in the Mari-Sol table collection by Eugeni Quitllet and selected Faz tables by Ramón Esteve, bringing together contemporary form, functionality and material performance.
6060 ALUMINIUM
LIGHTNESS, STRUCTURE & CONTEMPORARY FORM
Produced through moulding and extrusion, 6060 aluminium enables slender structural profiles and furniture with a sense of visual lightness while retaining strength. Its versatility allows designers to work across different proportions, heights and configurations.
Vondom uses 6060 aluminium prominently within collections including Hamptons, Posidonia and The Factory by Ramón Esteve, alongside Tulum by Eugeni Quitllet. Aluminium also forms part of the structure of selected pieces within other collections.
