These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and apply to all purchases made through our online store. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

At Modern Coastal Living, we embody Sustainable Elegance — eco-luxury furniture designed in collaboration with world-leading Mediterranean manufacturer Vondom, crafted from reclaimed ocean plastics and recyclable materials.
Each piece reflects our commitment to design integrity, environmental responsibility, and modern coastal living.

Because our furniture is handcrafted and made to order, subtle variations in colour, tone, or texture may occur. These are celebrated as part of the artisanal process and sustainability ethos of the brand.

3. Products & Orders

Orders are confirmed once payment has been received in full. Product descriptions, availability, and pricing are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or delivery limitations.

All made-to-order items enter production once payment is confirmed. Please ensure that all dimensions, finishes, and specifications are correct prior to placing your order.

4. Pricing, Taxes & Duties

All prices are displayed in your chosen currency and include applicable UK VAT (where relevant).
For international customers, import duties, customs fees, and local taxes are not included and remain the responsibility of the recipient.
Free international shipping is offered on orders exceeding £3,000 (or local equivalent), calculated automatically at checkout.

5. Shipping & Delivery

Our pieces are produced and dispatched from our manufacturing facility in Valencia, Spain.
Estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout and may vary depending on destination, seasonal production, and logistics.
We are not responsible for courier or customs delays beyond our control.

Please ensure your delivery address and access details are accurate. We cannot accept liability for lost or delayed items due to incomplete or incorrect information.

6. Returns & Refunds

We accept returns on standard (non-bespoke) items within 14 days of delivery for UK and EU customers, provided the item is unused, in original packaging, and approved for return by our team.

To request a return, please contact contact@moderncoastalliving.com with your order number and reason for return.
Bespoke, customised, or made-to-order products are non-refundable once production has commenced, except in the event of verified manufacturing defects.

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the product is faulty or incorrect.

7. Warranty

Our furniture is designed for long-term durability and includes a three-year warranty covering manufacturing defects or structural issues under normal residential use.

This warranty does not cover natural wear and tear, misuse, improper installation, or environmental damage.
To make a warranty claim, please email contact@moderncoastalliving.com with photos and a brief description of the issue.

8. Intellectual Property

All designs, product concepts, imagery, and written content featured on this website are protected by international copyright and design rights law.

They remain the exclusive property of:

  • Vondom S.L.U. (Manufacturer and IP holder)

  • Their associated designers, including Ramón Esteve, Eugeni Quitllet, Karim Rashid, Ross Lovegrove, and Jean-Marie Massaud

  • Modern Coastal Living Ltd, as an authorised distributor and design partner for the UK and global hospitality markets

No product photography, designs, or descriptive text may be copied, modified, or distributed without written consent from the rights holders.
Images or media provided by Modern Coastal Living may be used solely for approved marketing of official Vondom collections.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Modern Coastal Living Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or purchase of our products.
Our total liability shall not exceed the total value of the goods purchased.

10. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

We reserve the right to amend or update these Terms at any time. Updates will be published on this page, and continued use of our website constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
